Preparedness

                                                What Now?

We recognize that “being prepared” – or even starting the process – can be confusing and sometimes intimidating. The contrary to being prepared should scare all of us even more! There’s no shortage of preparedness information out there; if anything, the challenge is that there’s so much of it – it can be hard to know where to start or what’s really important.

More than anything, preparedness is a process. Our goal is make this section an important resource to help support you as you initiate or continue your efforts towards preparedness, and fulfill your responsibility to the people who depend on you for their safety and well-being.

Here’s our strategy:

  1. Simple to follow check-lists, with references or links to supporting or additional information
  2. A blog series that focuses on specific aspects of preparedness, the process, or the reasons behind certain preparedness recommendations.
  3. How-to “instructables” – simple tips or things you can do day-to-day to make you, your family, your community, or your business more prepared.
