ICS 300 Class

 

 

 

 

 

Whatcom Unified Emergency Management is offering an Intermediate Incident Command System course: I-300.  This course is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System.  This course focuses on management of expanding incidents.

The prerequisite to enroll in this course is completion of the ICS Basic (I-200) ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents. Information regarding this course can be found on the FEMA website.

Who should attend?  Individuals who may assume a supervisory/management role in expanding (Type 3) incidents.  Persons likely to assume these ICS supervisory positions would include senior personnel from incident management teams, emergency management, fire service, law enforcement, EMS, healthcare, education, military, and volunteer organizations active in disasters.
