Wildfire
Wildfires are a natural part of our environment. As we increase activity levels and build communities within predominatly wooded areas we increase our risk of impact from wildfires. Whatcom County experiences periodic wildfires, and fortunately they have not had significant impact on our built environment. However, fires can rapidly destroy anything in their path, so preparedness could save your life and property.
